When talking with Megan and Joe about their engagement session, they said how they enjoyed the outdoors and really loved the look of the historical Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I couldn’t be more happy they said that. From the beautiful 200-300 million year old structures of rock, to all the musical history that took place, just being there gives me good vibes.

Fun Fact: Did you know The Beatles played there in 1964? It was the only venue that the band didn’t sell out during their tour in the United States.

For all the great engagement photography locations Colorado has to offer, Red Rocks Engagements is one of my favorite areas that is less then an hour away from Denver, CO.

We agreed to meet for a sunrise engagement session at Red Rocks. Although being there when the noise of my favorite bands are playing is epic in it self, there is something special when you experience the sunrise and silence of true nature there.

I believe the pictures voice that Megan and Joe could feel it too..
