When I’m not clicking photos,

I’m most likely enjoying time at my cabin home tucked away in the foothills. I love starting my day off right with meditation, contentment, and a fresh ground coffee dripping through my chemex.

I am the youngest out of six to the best family I’ve known. The morals of my family has molded me to the person I am today, and I am grateful for that. When I have a week open, most likely I’ll be enjoying a 11 hour road trip back home. (singing as loud as I can, listening to inspiring podcasts, and catching up with friends on the phone.) Looking back now, I feel my Mom planted the seed of passion for photography. I remember being an annoyed kid when I was young during birthdays and Christmas when Mom would pull out her point-and-shoot camera and have us all get together to take photos before opening gifts. Now, as I am older, I sometimes get surprised by another ziplock bag of pictures of the past every time I’m home. Now older, those images are so priceless and I am forever grateful my Mom documented all those memories.

I also love to take my Harley (Hank) out for a nice cruise to explore, try out new restaurants with friends, learn a new song on guitar, or shaking a leg at a red rocks concert. Music is another love I have and is like a photo to me. It has the power to time travel me back to a memory in an instant.

I get twice as much snow as Denver out here, so when it’s a chilly winter evening, I enjoy relaxing at home binging crime shows and of course, re-watching The Office for the 47th time.

I’m the baby of the family on the left in the hat next to my three brothers, two sisters, and Mom

When I’m clicking photos,

I enjoy the grind of being a professional photographer. I love meeting with new clients and capturing the best, natural images possible. It is about getting on the same frequency and being comfortable during the session. When you are content and enjoying your time, the camera captures that.

I believe light is key in creating professional photographs. That is why I love working with the best natural light to create great images. If natural light is not available, I love the challenge of creating the light needed with off camera flashes and modifiers of all types. My passion fueled by ambition is a gift given to me every day which continually helps me find ways to learn, perfect my craft, and capture the best from my clients.
