THINGS THAT GIVE ME GRATITUDE
I am the youngest out of six to the best family I’ve known. The morals of my family has molded me to the person I am today, and I am grateful for that. When I have a week open, most likely I’ll be enjoying a 11 hour road trip back home. (singing as loud as I can, listening to inspiring podcasts, and catching up with friends on the phone.) Looking back now, I feel my Mom planted the seed of passion for photography. I remember being an annoyed kid when I was young during birthdays and Christmas when Mom would pull out her point-and-shoot camera and have us all get together to take photos before opening gifts. Now, as I am older, I sometimes get surprised by another ziplock bag of pictures of the past every time I’m home. Those images are so priceless and I am forever grateful she documented all those memories.

I love to get out on my bike “Hank”. The freedom that I feel is like no other. Big or small, my goal is to take at least one trip each year.

Love to sit with my guitar and learning new songs. Music has always been a big part of my life. I love live music! The power of hearing a song when it instantly transports me to a time and place of your past. Very powerful.
Fly out to Oregon for a spontaneous RV trip with good friends..? Yes please. To see the Redwoods for the first time was so powerful. I feel balance of work and play is a very healthy habit to give my time to.

I enjoy my down time at my cabin home tucked away in the foothills. I love starting my day off right with meditation, contentment, and a fresh ground coffee dripping through my chemex.
BE - DO - HAVE (NOT, Do - Have - Be)
I try to live first and let the success follow. “BE” happy, “DO” the actions, and “HAVE” the dreams. My first Actions of the day is to slow the mind, slip into contentment and be grateful. With this mindset, I can only be my best self in my personal and professional life.
This has been a fact of my experience.
WHEN I’M CLICKING PHOTOS
I enjoy the grind of being a professional photographer. I love meeting with new clients and capturing the best, natural images possible. It is about getting on the same frequency and being comfortable during the session. When you are content and enjoying your time, the camera captures that.
I believe light is key in creating professional photographs. That is why I love working with the best natural light to create great images. If natural light is not available, I love the challenge of creating the light needed with off camera flashes and modifiers of all types. My passion fueled by ambition is a gift given to me every day which continually helps me find ways to learn, perfect my craft, and capture the best from my clients.
