The Pines at Genesee Wedding | Colorado Wedding Photographer

I got the opportunity to meet and talk with Cassie and her Mother Alex about Cassie and Cody’s wedding plans at The Pines at Genesee in Golden, Colorado. The first thing that stuck out to me was the special relationship Cassie and Alex had. Was great to see Alex so involved with her daughters plans for her big day. Cassie even wore her Moms wedding dress.

We started the wedding day off at an Airbnb in Evergreen, Colorado. From there we drove to a beautiful small cabin located north of Idaho Springs, Colorado for their first look. The first time they seen each other was on a small deck, with sunshine and flurries of snow coming down. I remember feeling fortunate to be one of the few people there to witness this special moment between them. Afterwords we used the time we had to capture couple portraits before heading to the venue.

Once we got to the venue, I got to witness the celebration really come to life with Cassie and Cody’s family and loved ones. From the ceremony, reception and everything in between. To see all the tears of joy, laughter, and cheers of this day just reminds me how blessed I am to be apart of an energy and power greater than. Thank you Cassie and Cody.
