I feel Denver wedding photographers get the best of both worlds. Not only do you have the mountain view sunset everyday, you also get the beautiful City of Denver and the history that comes with it. One of the main reasons I like to capture weddings at the Wellshire Event Center is because of the Tudor Style structure of the main building that was built in 1927. Adding off camera lighting and creating images for my couples are one of my favorite things, and historical buildings like the Wellshire are always a fuel to my passion.
I had the pleasure of meeting Meredith and Daniel in person for their engagement session. I remember the first time we talked, how alive and exited they both were together. High positive energy with gratitude on top. We met face-to-face for their two hour engagement session first in the foothills in Jefferson County, then downtown Denver near Larimer Square to finish off the session.
Fast forward to their wedding day in Denver, They were just as alive together as the day I met them. Especially with all their loved ones celebrating with them. We had a full day of capturing laughter, love, tears of joy, and great celebrations. As a photographer, one of my favorite moments was doing a “speed round” couples session after dark around the original building of the property. One off camera light, a camera, and a lot of quick reaction time. They were all about it and had a laughing blast. And that just sums up who Meredith and Daniel are. Energy filled with positivity and joy that sticks to you like Elmer’s glue!
