Mount Falcon Park | Laural, Chris + Ivy | Denver Family Photographer

When Laural reach out to book me for family photos I was excited. I met Laural an worked with her when I moved to Colorado. This was before I even new that I had a drive in me to be a professional photographer. Laural mentioned how she remembered when I started to play around with photography more seriously, and how quickly I excelled. Hearing this always gives me a feeling of gratitude on how fortunate I am to have found a passion that I can do professionally.

One word. Ivy. From looking through the pictures, you would never guess that she was shy and didn’t want anything to do with pictures when we first arrived at Mount Falcon Park. I new Laural and Chris before she came along, and to see them both light up like a speed light around Ivy was so awesome to witness. This is one of the many reasons I like family photography sessions. Right at the beginning, a lot of the times it is trying to get the kids to settle down, look at the camera, smile, say cheese, etc. Then organically you see the bond and the corkiness of the family coming out. And I get to freeze this in time for my clients.

Again, the word that comes to mind while writing this is.. Gratitude.
